Liz Walton, Director of Adult Education
Liz started her career at CVCC in 1996 as a Business Liaison in the School- to-Career program. In 1997 she became the coordinator of the Business Liaison staff and in 2002 Liz became the Director of Adult Education. Liz holds a Bachelors Degree from Rider University, Lawrenceville, New Jersey and a Master's Degree in Higher Education Administration from The University of South Dakota.
Liz recently participated in the adult education statewide initiative to transfer Adult Career Technical Education to the University System of Ohio and the Board of Regent's governance.
She is actively working with the Ohio Skills Bank Region 8 committees and the Career Technical Transfer initiative. Both initiatives facilitate seamless educational pathways for adults. Career Technical Transfer provides college credit for students who successfully complete adult education programs which are approved for credit transfer to public colleges and universities across the State of Ohio.
Liz is a member of Ohio ACTE.
